Kamyoney – covered pickup truck
That’s how you can pronounce these words in Creole. Some are more common than others, depending on where you live and how much you can afford to pay.
In our city of Carrefour, the most common is kamyonet (25 gd) or motorcycle (75 gd). If you are traveling out of town you would take a spot in a minivan (250 gd). If you are in Port-au-Prince you can take a TapTap.
